Singapore – 18 May, 2008 – Lingua Tech Singapore participated in a fun-filled event organized by the Assisi Hospice on Sunday, 18th May at the St Joseph Institution (SJI) International. The guest of honour, Ms Ho Ching, wife of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and the patron of Assisi Hospice, joined over 12,000 members of the public at the charity carnival for a day of good food and good fun.


 
With over 150 stalls serving up all kinds of food, fruits and games, the event aimed to raise funds of $500,000 for the expansion & improvements to Assisi Hospice three core services of in-patient care, home care, and day-care centers.

In conjunction with LTS 12th Anniversary celebration, management and staffs of LTS turned up in full force to support the event by setting up a “FotoShop”, providing photo taking session for everyone there with some of the best loved fairy tale and cartoon characters such as “Super girl”, “Snow White”, “Bunny Rabbit” and the ever loving “Purple Dinosaur”.


 
The “FotoShop” shop managed by LTS team raised almost S$1300.00 for the Assisi Hospice. It was definitely a day of good charity fun for the team at LTS.

The total combine effort raised for the 1 day event was S$550,000, exceeding their target of half a million dollars set for Assisi Hospice.
