Singapore – 02 May, 2009 – Lingua Tech Singapore participated, for the second year in a role, in the fun-filled event organized by the Assisi Hospice on Saturday, 2nd May at the St Joseph Institution (SJI) International.

Joining the guest of honour, Ms Ho Ching, were enthusiatic crowds that came in the hundreds despite the global economic crisis and the threat of a Swine Flu outbreak during that period, testifying that charity does not have to take a backseat even during tough times. 

Management and staffs of Lingua Tech Singapore turned up in full force in support the event with a Dunking store. Sacrificing themselves for any "sharp-shooters" willing to put their "dunking skills" to the test for a price, Lingua Tech Singapore managed to raise a total of more than $1600 for Assisi Hospice during the event. 

With over 100 stalls serving up all kinds of food, fruits and games, the event raised more than $600,000 for Assisi Hospice. 

Through such charity event, Assisi Hospice will be able to provide compassionate and holistic care for adult and paediatric patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses with an integrated program that comprises of in-patient care, home care and day care services.

It was definitetly a cause worth getting wet for!!
